Dr Udaia Kumar is the Founder and Managing Director of SHARE Microfin Ltd,
the largest micro-finance Institution in India. A Postgraduate in Commerce
with a Masters in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Finance
and Management, Dr Kumar is credited with pioneering the concept of
micro-finance in India. Dr Kumar is a member of the committee constituted
by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India
to review the status of Housing Finance in India. Dr Kumar is the recipient of
several awards, including the ‘Lifting up the World with Oneness–Heart Award’
presented by the UN Peace Foundation in New York City, the ‘Change Makers Award’
by Dr Reddy’s Foundation, and ‘Excellency in Micro Credit Award’ presented by the
Rockefeller Foundation and GF-USA for his pioneering contribution in the field of
development finance and financial inclusion.

Mr.Mark Stoleson,
President,Legatum.
Mr.Stoleson is President of Legatum which was formed following the de-merger of
Sovereign Global Investment. At Sovereign Global Mr.Stoleson served as President
of Sovereign Global Development and Head of Group Investments at Sovereign Global Investment.
Prior to Joining Sovereign Global, Mr. Stoleson was a corporate attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer
& Feld LLP, in Moscow, Russia and Dallas, Texas. Mr.Stoleson earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in International Relations from Occidental college and a JD-LLM from Duke University School of Law.

Pravin Ratilal Gandhi

Mr. Pravin Gandhi is a Director in “SEED FUND”, an early stage fund launched in 2006.
He was also a Managing Partner of “Infinity Venture Fund”.
He was one of the early IT entrepreneurs to promote Hinditron in 1972, a successful IPO.
He has been an angel investor in various IT Companies and associated with several Boards,
including significant Shareholder & Director of Schiller Healthcare. He is at present President of
TiE, Mumbai and active adviser of Aavishkaar. Mr.Gandhi is a graduate in Industrial
Engineering from Cornell.

Alan McCormick
Managing Director, Legatum.
Alan McCormick is Managing Director at Legatum. Mr. McCormick formerly held positions
at Sovereign Global Development and was Head of Corporate communications at
Sovereign Global Investment. Prior to joining Sovereign Global, Mr. McCormick was
a Vice President of marketing at J.P. Morgan’s worldwide securities group responsible
for EMEA and Asia. Mr. McCormick graduated from the University of London with
joint honours in History and Politics and completed the London Business School’s
Corporate Finance programme.

Philip Vassiliou
Managing Director,Legatum.
Philip Vassiliou is a Managing Director at Legatum. While at Legatum’s predecessor,
Sovereign Global, Mr. Vassiliou held positions in both Group Investments and
Sovereign Global Development. Prior to joining Sovereign Global, Mr. Vassiliou
worked for the Dubai Development Investment Authority (DDIA) promoting foreign
direct investment in Dubai. Before joining the DDIA, Mr. Vassiliou worked in the
Equities & Private Wealth divisions of Goldman Sachs International in both New York
and London. Mr. Vassiliou is a graduate from Babson College (Wellesley, MA) where
he earned a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Finance and Economics. Mr. Vassiliou
is also a board member of the Ubuntu Education Fund.

Mr. Rao is the Deputy General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI),
Hyderabad. He is well versed with the policies and operations of Small & Medium size Enterprises.
He has spent considerable time working with grassroots innovators and Microfinance institutions.
He has visited/analyzed most of the MFIs in India, adding to his vast experience in the
micro finance sector. Mr. C. V. Rao serves on the boards of APSFC and APIDC Venture Capital Ltd.
