SHARE currently serves more than 2.47 million members across 18 Indian states - Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa and Kerala, demonstrating approximately 90% client growth in the last three years. SHARE caters to the needs of poor rural women through its 5,124 staff members spread across 933 branches (as on 31 December 2009). The total outstanding portfolio is more than Rs 1625 crore (USD 353.16 million). |
