SHARE currently serves more than 3.06 million members across 18 Indian states - Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa and Kerala. SHARE caters to the needs of poor rural women through its 6,290 staff members spread across 1056 branches (as on 30 June 2010). The total outstanding portfolio is more than Rs 2,234 crore (USD 485.61 million). |
